RURAL TRANSPORTATION PLAN 2017-18

       This scheme is providing for self development initiatives is to bring forward not only the drivers belonging to scheduled tribes community who are in possession of driving License & transport badge but also to encourage them in choosing sustainable livelihood option besides meeting the need of local employment.

       The following Transport Goods vehicles sanctioned subsidy an amount of Rs.2,88,000/- (each beneficiary).

  • DRIVER EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMMES :

            This scheme to empower car drivers become owners and eligible unemployed youth is given Maruti Dzire cars under the ‘Driver Empowerment Programme’ with 60% subsidy of the unit cost. People who are interested in driving can utilize the opportunity and get hired by the government or private companies and also cab services.

            The selection of the candidate through  District Level Joint Selection along with schedule for conducting District Level Joint Selection Camp for Selection of beneficiaries in Driver Empowerment Programme with coordination of the District officers of Tribal Welfare & Deputy Transport Commissioner, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, as part of Economic Support schemes.

  • TRIBAL ARTISANS :

            The Commissioner of Tribal Welfare TS Hyderabad has sanctioned and released subsidy amount for implementation of Tribal Artisans Scheme under MSME Plan to support (PvTG-26+Koya-2=28) existing ST entrepreneurs for scaling up their Business ventures for the year 2021-22. As part of that, this office has constructed (2) Sheds with estimated cost an amount of Rs.26,50,000/- (Rupees Twenty Six lakhs and Fifty thousand Only) in Pusukunta (V) of Dammapeta (M) and Gogulapudi (V) of Aswaraopeta (M) and also supplied equipment and materials to the (28) existing tribal artisans with value an amount of Rs.12,14,800/-(Rupees Twelve Lakhs Fourteen thousand and Eight hundred Only)

  • MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES(MSME)  

            Small-and medium-scale business enterprises play an important role in employment generation and economic growth by facilitating the tapping of resources which would otherwise remain unused. With low capital, small and medium enterprises create employment opportunities in rural by the Tribal Women members.  Implementation of MSME Scheme is through Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) with the limit of Project cost of Rs.40.00 Lakhs. The funding pattern of the MSME plan Scheme is detailed hereunder.

  • Subsidy from TRICOR –           60%
  • Bank Loan –           30%
  • JLG Contribution –           10%
  • To generate employment opportunities in rural and urban areas through setting up of new self-employment projects/micro enterprises in nonfarm sector.
  • To Provide continuous and sustainable employment to all segments of traditional and prospective artisans and rural / urban unemployed youth in the country, as to help arrest migration of rural youth to urban areas.
